A wonderful place in the woods where a smith still handcrafts wonderful knives, small axes and different other accessories by hand. Don't miss it!

Great place: very friendly stuff, kayaks in good condition, reasonable prices. Highly recommended! And they have day rental, not only tours and classes.

We had a lovely time kayaking on a guided trip around the area. We had a crash course in kayaking and got to see a small local museum. Sanna was a very nice and accommodating guide and brought an awesome picnic lunch. A bit pricey, but we got a very nice day and experience for the price.

Hanhiniitty / Saimaa Canoeing is an excellent place to start a shorter or longer kayaking trip. The kayaks are in good condition, and you can get a introduction to kayaking if you feel you need to brush up on your skills. Courses for beginners are also offered regularly. Service was impeccable - we got quick responses to our inquiries and booked an overnight rental with kayak intro without a glitch. Sanna's intro was friendly and detailed, and resulted in us having a lovely trip to Rokansaari island (highly recommended, pic attached)! This time around we didn't reserve enough time to look at the smithy - I do recommend you take some extra time at Hanhiniitty either at the beginning or end of your visit.

Отличное место с умеренными ценами, отличными каяками. Можно взять в аренду все что нужно, даже газ и еду. Очень приветливый персонал, все говорят по английски
